Commenting on this appointment, Ben Portsmouth, Managing Director of Andromeda, said: “Having had success in selling our systems into all types of operations, from single owner/operator sites up to large chains such as Bombay Bicycle Club, we are now ready to expand our product offering throughout the UK and into several key export markets.”

Kevin will be developing the business with delivery operators and launching new versions into the restaurant sector. He will also develop distributor networks in the UK and abroad. Kevin will also be responsible for developing marketing initiatives, exhibitions and a new financing option for customers.

Kevin has more than 25 years’ experience in the food service equipment industry, having worked for major companies such as Zanussi and Hussmann, and has been Managing Director of UK subsidiaries for two American parent corporations. He has developed sales to major accounts, both in the UK and overseas, and has set up distribution channels worldwide. He has most recently been Sales Manager of a company providing sophisticated cold chain solutions to the Pharma and Biotech industries.
