Andromeda - a world of epossibilities

Andromeda was founded in 1999 to develop delivery POS software that worked from an Operators standpoint.

Ben Portsmouth founded the company along with Ben Cole. As senior management of the company they had  many years' experience of working at the "sharp end" of the industry at store level and then at a corporate level in corporations and training. Ben Portsmouth moved to Head Office working on a range of special projects including fraud management.

Since its formation, the company has continually led the field in innovation. Along the way the company has been first to market with Integrated Internet Ordering, SMS dispatch notification, High Speed credit cards processing, Advanced telephony, Mapping and more.

In 2005 Andromeda was selected as the exclusive POS vendor for Papa John’s UK and Ireland.

In 2007 we were selected to install across New York Pizza, the leading Pizza Chain in the Netherlands. Our latest software will work in any country, in multiple languages, including French, Dutch, Hungarian, Spanish and Russian.

In 2009 we have opened offices in Paris, France and Warsaw, Poland as part of our expansion plan across Europe and beyond.

In 2010 Andromeda launches a new office in Sofia, Bulgaria in a move designed to continue it`s expansion of global software business and customer support.

From an initial focus on pizza delivery, we are now the leading provider to the Indian Food delivery sector (including The Bombay Bicycle Club & Masala Zone), as well as the Sushi delivery sector.
Increasingly, we are supplying counter service and restaurant locations as well, and adding value by helping new delivery concepts get off the ground.

Consistent with our business model, our strategy is to tailor an innovative software solutions hosting latest online features and services which drive customers to your business and increase your turnover and profit dramatically .

And what about the future ?

Our aim is to become the world's leading POS and Ordering Solutions provider for delivery operators worldwide. It’s a big ambition, but then we never think small!
